The SLAS Wildcats’ Kitchen cooking class recently took a field trip to Zotter Chocolate Factory Shanghai, and what a learning experience it was! Our SLAS Wildcats had the pleasure of touring the entire factory and learning all about cocoa and chocolate, including incredibly different samples to try!
Our students also got to take part in the DIY station, where they could get creative and try out their own recipes for their very own chocolate creations.
Not only was the Zotter Chocolate Factory an educational and fun field trip, but it was also an ethical one. The chocolates served are all organic and fair, so our students were able to learn about the importance of sustainability and ethical food production.
This was certainly an experience that our SLAS Wildcats will never forget. We are grateful to the Zotter Chocolate Factory for a wonderful learning experience that our students will carry with them for years to come.
